Job Summary:
Lushomo is seeking a Communications Account Manager at the junior level to join their team.
The ideal candidate should have a combination of creativity and technical skills, be organized, quick to learn, and able to work well under pressure in a small team.
This position can be based either at their office in Seapoint, Cape Town or remote. Lushomo specializes in effectively communicating complex information for partner organizations, mainly working with United Nations clients and other international organizations in various sectors.
They prioritize work that has a positive social impact and are growing steadily in the information design and research communication field.

Qualifications and Skills:
- Master’s degree in public health, development, communications, or a relevant field.
- Adaptable team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
- Ability to communicate data and concepts simply and effectively.
- Excellent writing and communication skills in English.
- Eye for detail with excellent coordination and organizational skills.
Additional Beneficial Skills:
- Previous experience in visual design, media, or another communications-related field.
- Experience managing social media accounts.
- Knowledge of Adobe Suite, GIS, Tableau, PowerBI, or other design or data visualization software.
- Exposure to technical skills such as data analysis, coding/development, graphic design, video production, photography, etc.
- Language skills in any of the five UN languages other than English.
Salary Range: R16,000 – R25,000 per month (depending on experience)
